What is OGImagen?
OGImagen is an AI-powered tool that generates Open Graph images for your web pages. Paste in a title, description, and brand color, and it produces ready-to-use social preview images for Facebook, X (Twitter), LinkedIn, and more.
What image sizes does OGImagen generate?
Every generation produces two layout variants in the standard OG format:
- OG / Default — 1200 × 630 px (Facebook, Discord, Slack, WhatsApp, LinkedIn)
- Twitter Card — served from the same image; Twitter scales it automatically
How do I embed the image on my site?
After generation, open the image detail page and copy the snippet for your framework — Next.js App Router, Next.js Pages Router, Astro, or plain HTML. Paste it into your page's <head> and you're done.
Can I try it before subscribing?
Yes — generate directly from the landing page without an account. Your result is saved locally so you can preview both variants and download a watermarked copy. To get clean CDN-hosted images and embed snippets, you need a Pro subscription.
What does Pro include?
Pro ($9/month) gives you unlimited generations, both image variants (A & B), all framework snippets (Next.js, Astro, HTML, and more), no watermark, downloads in all resolutions (OG, Twitter, LinkedIn), and access to all future features. Billing is handled by Stripe and you can cancel any time.
Can I cancel my Pro subscription?
Yes — cancel any time from your Stripe billing portal. You keep Pro access until the end of the billing period. We do not offer refunds for partial periods unless required by law.
Who generates the images?
Images are generated by Google's Gemini image model via the Nano Banana Pro API. We send your prompt (title, description, brand color) to the model and return the result — we never store your prompt in a way that is shared with other users.
Do you store my generated images?
Yes. Generated images are stored in Cloudflare R2 (object storage) and served via a CDN URL. You can delete your account and all associated images at any time by contacting us.
Can I use the images commercially?
Yes. Images you generate are available to you under a non-exclusive licence for any use, including commercial projects. We make no warranty that generated images are free of third-party IP claims — review our Terms of Service for full details.
What happens if the AI generation fails?
If a generation job fails, the status is shown as "failed" in your dashboard. Try again — transient errors are usually resolved on a retry.
Do you support custom fonts or logos?
Logo/reference image upload is on the roadmap. Currently, you can describe your brand visuals in the prompt and the AI will incorporate them stylistically. Custom font support is planned for a future release.
Is there an API?
Not yet. A public REST or tRPC API is planned. If you need programmatic access, contact us and we'll put you on the early-access list.
